Joan Monras
Joan Monras is a Professor of Economics at UPF, CREI, and BSE and Director of the Barcelona School of Economics. He has also been a Research Advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, a Kenen Fellow at Princeton University, and a professor of economics at CEMFI and at Sciences Po. He did his PhD in Economics at Columbia University, where he graduated in 2014.
His research interests include labor economics, urban economics, and international trade. He holds a B.A. in mathematics from the University of Barcelona, a MSc in History and Theory of International Relations from the London School of Economics and a MA in Economics from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
