Joan Monras
Joan Monras is a Professor of Economics at UPF and a Research Advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco (on-leave). He has also been a Kenen Fellow at Princeton University, and a professor of economics at CEMFI and at Sciences Po. He did his PhD in Economics at Columbia University, where he graduated in 2014. He is currently a research fellow at CEPR, IZA, and CReAM, and an associate researcher at CREI.
His research interests include labor economics, urban economics, and international trade. He holds a B.A. in mathematics from the University of Barcelona, a MSc in History and Theory of International Relations from the London School of Economics and a MA in Economics from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
